We've been working hard on Cosmo Crafter and we want to let you know how things are going.
We started this discussion forum so that passionate people about spacial strategy browser games can share their thoughts on Cosmo Crafter. We believe we're onto something. We're building a game that goes beyond the current traditional mechanics on games like these.
We started working on the game practically one month ago and the results have been incredible.
Some of the features that are currently implemented are:
Sign-in and registration (with race-defined settings);
Ability to build or upgrade buildings;
Ability to assign workers on the Mining Facility;
Ability to assign storage units on the Storage Depot;
Ability to exchange between Currencies on the Exchange Office;
Universal Feed (incomplete);
Planets Settlements View (incomplete);
...and overall, some UI work and some background tasks, such as our amazing #gravity feature.
Let me show you what I am talking about:
This is your Exchange Office, where you can get a grip on your currencies portfolio, and at any moment purchase new currencies:
When you upgrade your mining facility, new workers get hired on your settlement, allowing you to afterwards, assign them to the extraction of your favourite and most essential materials for your progression. On the following screen is our Mining Facility UI, where this "workers allocation" can be found:
Finally, it's not just mining and collecting resources, you'll also have to manage your storage units, just like with the Mining Facility, on each upgrade of the Storage Depot, you'll get to earn Storage Units (1 Unit = 1 Kg), meaning that, for instance, Iron that has a mass of 55.85, with 5585 storage units allocated, we could store up to 100 units of Iron, take a look:
Finally, note that the game is still under development; actually the top menu already looks slightly different, making sure that all the primary game-actions are easily accessible from any page...
